I want to continue the collaboration with AEF in order to continue to find ways to innovative ways to prepare, recognize and empower Arizona educators.
Q. What have you most enjoyed about being a member of the board?
By far, the people. There is a great mix of business, education and community leaders on the AEF board and it’s great to be a part of a team who supports a shared mission of fostering excellence in Arizona’s schools.
Q. What is your favorite program?
My favorite program is probably Teacher of the Year. It gives us a chance to honor and recognize best practice to deserving teachers in the profession.
Q. If you could tell a family member of friend one thing about AEF and its impact on public schools in Arizona, what would you say?
I would say the work that AEF does for Arizona teachers and schools allows the community to celebrate the successes that are found in schools across the state and the diligence of our teachers.
