This Q/A is edited for brevity and clarity
Q. What spurred you to join the AEF board?
Intel is a proud sponsor of AEF and the work that this organization does.
Intel has had a role on the AEF Board of Trustees for over a decade. I was happy to join the board as I come from a family of educators and know the hard work that they do!
Q. What have you most enjoyed about being a member of the board?
I have enjoyed getting to know my colleagues on the board and furthering the great work of AEF.
Q. What is your favorite program?
My favorite program is the A+ School of Excellence program. There are many great schools and I love the process — submitting the application and the site visit. It’s a way to engage former and future schools to create more A+ schools in AZ!
Q. If you could tell a family member of friend one thing about AEF and its impact on public schools in Arizona, what would you say?
AEF is about recognizing great schools and teachers and sharing their best practices to create more exemplary schools in Arizona.
