National Board 101: Your Path to Certification

Are you curious about National Board Certification but not sure where to begin? This introductory session is designed for teachers who want to learn more about the National Board process, what certification involves, and how to take the first steps with confidence.

During this session, participants will explore the foundations of National Board Certification, including the Five Core Propositions and the Architecture of Accomplished Teaching. We will also discuss helpful starting resources, what candidates can expect from the process, and available funding opportunities that may help support certification costs.

By the end of the session, teachers will have a clearer understanding of what National Board Certification is, why it matters, and how to begin planning their own path toward certification.
