Workforce Skills in Action: Practical Tools for the K–12 Classroom for Teachers

This session gives teachers a hands-on introduction to workforce skills and how they can be taught through everyday instruction. We’ll explore a core set of skills and discuss how they show up in students’ lives and future careers. Participants will reflect on who their students are and what they need to be successful beyond school, then learn how to weave these essential skills into existing lessons without adding extra content. You’ll walk away with easy-to-use instructional activities, aligned to standards, that help students practice workforce skills in real time—no matter what subject or grade level you teach.
