Mountain Ridge High School is a school community that goes above and beyond to serve its students. Not only does MRHS clearly have teachers who know how to engage students as mentioned in the application, they come early and stay late to encourage students to be as involved in school as they can. Teachers used a variety of classroom structures and strategies to provide engaging instruction to students. Students were active in content discussion in many classrooms; the discussions were high level and it was clear teachers had set forth clear procedures for students to know what to do. The culture in classrooms, the office, and on campus was relaxed and friendly. What a great environment for students to learn.
